Shanghai Media Group Debuts Mobile TV Broadcasting Channel

According to Chinese-language China Business News, Shanghai Dragon New Media, a subsidiary of SMG (Shanghai Media Group), debuted a mobile TV broadcasting channel on July 5, 2007. Called Fifth Media, the channel customized for mobile phone users features live broadcasts of concise news content in five-minute cycles. Currently, the channel is operating via Shanghai Mobile and Shanghai Unicom's mobile TV service platforms.
